Butterfly Program

The Butterfly Program is for students who have been exhibiting  negative behaviors, but who have not been expelled or in danger of being expelled from any academic school programs. Students enrolled in this program may have some challenges behaving across all settings, including home and school, but are more than capable of changing their behavior habits using various behavior modification techniques. These students do not have severe or extreme behavior patterns or behavior disorders, however their negative choices are a concern for their future success.

Phoenix Program

The Phoenix Program is designed for students who have had a little more troublesome time than most. These students may have experienced tin in juvenile detention centers or have had other experiences involving corrections. Though these students may have seemingly "crashed and burned" with those around them, we believe there is still hope and time for them to reinvent themselves. Many students have accomplished great things with troublesome pasts.

In-Home Sessions

In the In-Home Session program, we come to you. If your child is too young, or doesn't meet the requirements to attend one of our youth camps, this is the program for you. A highly trained professional ABA specialist will come to your home and work with you and your child to facilitate behavior modification. Parents and students will receive training for successful outcomes.

Overview

Our camps are designed to be "a little rough", to quote one of our previous campers. Our students experience tent camping in the scenic mountains of Idyllwild California, without the use of any technology. In a society that is technology driven, most youth never have the opportunity to experience nature, and the true therapy of being in the wilderness. Teens and running hot water are a must, so all of our camp sites have restrooms and showers available for our use.

With each program we use several different methods to redirect your teen to a positive path.

With three (3) different programs, your family is certain to find the right fit for your child. Each camp program offers on site individual and group counseling, team work, self discipline, and self-esteem building to create an intrinsic desire for change in your child.

Our staff is highly trained in intervention methods such as Applied Behavior Analysis. Our military volunteers have dedicated over 25 years of service in the US Marine Corps in various leadership capacities. It is this combination of expertise that creates a disciplined environment for wilderness therapy.

Our current curriculum incorporates a minimum of 20 hours of community service as well as over 40 hours of written work. When students are able to give back, they feel a sense of importance and are reassured in their personal values. They are challenged with acts of selflessness that is encouraged to continue long after camp has ended.

Our 6 month follow up program is unlike any other camp program today. We hold our students to a higher expectation and they continue to show accountability to others to stay on track. During our follow up program, we guide our families to assisting the student to stay on track to positive behaviors. You will continue to receive support and literature from our program, that facilitates the transition home and is the caveat for changing the direction of your child's behavior.
